The Associate Degree in Nursing vs. the Bachelor of Science in Nursing- How are they different and similar?

You will be an RN in both cases. I do not understand the difference. Associate Degree is 2 years and pays about $ 15k to $ 20k. Bach in nursing is usually an RN and pay $ 40k to $ 60k. diff. is when your training, you must keep current. paid the same is the same as in the basic skills, rules of practice, and you have to qualify as a novice nurse who is eligible for the NCLEX exam to become certified as an RN. When it comes to pay as a regular employee nurse positions in hospitals or nursing homes, there is little difference. My hospital pays only $ 1 more per hour for BSN nurses. But BSN nurses are more likely to hold higher positions than personal care, nurse leaders have been more or hold administrative positions. It is not for RNA and to get to higher positions, but you would normally have many years of service or working in a small facility may have. With respect to differences in education, to BSN many more general education requirements and additional courses to maintain public health, nursing research, nursing leadership, and some other courses where you learn a lot about history and health care between nursing theories and models of attention when research and management in particular are more reasons to be promoted to that rank. RN BSN As you are qualified to become certified as a public health nurse. And RNA can not PHNS. As you can PHN for the Department of Health and other public or private institutions engaged in working with groups such as the coordination of a WIC program for mothers and children, and not judge the merits, or you can do at home for refugee families, etc. Without BSN you can not obtain a higher education or a doctorate degree. Masters train you in a specialty that can lead to certification as a Nurse Practitioner (family, newborn, gerontology, pediatrics, etc.) or a nurse educator (teaching in nursing schools and train nurses in hospitals) or a certified nurse anesthetist aka Crna etc.
