Can a bachelor of science in nursing degree do other careers as well?

Just curious. If you have a degree - or an additional title - then I'm going to be ahead of everyone else in regard to the pursuit of careers. My friend has a degree, and was not sure what direction to take with him, but found some good tips on the site in the resource box below which helped him decide he wanted to be a lab assistant. There are a lot of help on the ground of additional occupations. Related occupations, perhaps, but not related, probably not. This is a very specific question, so it is difficult to give an answer. The last two years, especially in a BSRN program focuses exclusively on nursing, so it was a career that requires other classes, licenses, etc, then it would be more likely to require additional work.
